The American Red Cross Tsunami Recovery Program (TRP) had been established to direct the organization¢ s response to the South Asia tsunami disaster. The TRP activities focus on integrated community recovery and preparedness interventions in tsunami affected countries in Asia and East Africa in collaboration with Red Cross and non-Red Cross partners. The Indonesia TRP Delegation operates from offices in Banda Aceh (main), Calang, Lamno, Sabang and Pulo Aceh. It also has liaison offices in Jakarta, and other areas in Aceh province in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross. The Indonesia TRP program has a budget of over $200m. It commenced in May 2005 and will be completed by June 2010.

Specific DUTIES responsibilities and accountabilities :
Assist HR of relational databases including backup/recovery, schedule jobs, problem diagnosis and performance tuning. Implement data models and database designs. Assist in the resolution of database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Assist with ad-hoc reports if needed.

Qualification and Requirement :
At least three years of experience developing relational database applications with Entity Relationship, complex MySQL, PHP and Visual Foxpro ; At least three years of experience creating scripts, testing in implementing large data updates into production databases; Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business documentation, professional journals, technical specifications and project management documentation; Ability to write reports, introduce (Training) application to end users and procedure manuals; Demonstrate ability to develop formal application specifications and project plans using common Documentation tools such as MySQL, PHP and Visual Foxpro; Demonstrate ability to work as part of an application development team; create structured code for integration into larger systems, document work for maintenance in a production environment, create task lists, timelines and deliverables, work to meet project schedules determined by others;
Demonstrate ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to develop systematic testing plans for problem resolution.
