Action contre la Faim (AcF) is a non-governmental, non-political and

projects address the areas of water and sanitation, food security,
and disaster preparedness. Activities including repair and
construction of infrastructures, construction of showers and
latrines, hygiene education, distribution of farming and fishing
equipment, support to income-generating activities, and socioeconomic
and environmental impact studies.

Post Title: Food Processing and Marketing Expert
Location/Duty Station: Jakarta
Contract Determined

Responsibilities:
1. Improve in a sustainable way household food security in two
sub-districts, Timor Tengah selatan District NTT.
2. To evaluate the feasibility of potential food processing
activities and to be developed either with existing groups and will
focus on the list of pre-selected raw food materials/processed
products, Maintain and up date Database.
3. Strengthened local agricultural capacities and improved
agricultural production for 300 households in 12 farmer groups in
Amanatun Utara sub-district and Strengthened local income generating
capacities and improved acces to income generating for 200 household
in 20 IGA groups in Boking sub-district.

Desired Qualifications
1. Master Degree in Agro-economist, or socioeconomist
2. Have an experience 5 (five) years in community development or
related field is preferred.
3. Experience in conducting market survey and/or economic
vialibility studies.
4. Experience in conducting short-term assessments.
5. Experience in IGA or food processing projects preferred.
6. Experience working in NTT would be advantage.
7. Specific knowledge or experience working with the pre-
selected raw food materials or processes would be an advantage.
8. Excellent English skill is compulsory (oral & written)
