Vacancies in Oxfam GB based in Banda Aceh

Who we are Working with over 1,000 partners in more than 70 countries, Oxfam is a global organisation that aims to overcome poverty and suffering. We’re proud of the differences we’re making everyday, with our long-term programmes of development, as well as essential emergency relief. Currently, a key area of our work is aimed at alleviating suffering in Aceh and Nias, Indonesia caused by the 2005 Tsunami and earthquake that left over 170,000 dead and 2 million homeless. Here, we work closely with local communities to support and accelerate the area’s recovery.

All position will be based in Banda Aceh, with Fixed Term Employment for 9 months.

HR and Admin Manager
Your main responsibilities are to provide HR and Administrative Management advice and support to the Area programme on the full range of HR and people management issues. To interpret corporate strategy, contribute to the development of the national HR and Administrative strategy and the design and implementation of operational plans to enhance the area programme’s performance through its people. This post directly reports to the Area Programme Manager. Full professional qualification in Human Resource and Admin Management and/or substantial HR and Admin experience (at least four years at HR and Admin Manager level) including recruitment, selection, performance management, reward, employee relations, change management, learning and development, diversity and Office Management.


Human Resources Officer
The successful candidate will provide a wide variety of Generalist Human Resources support and advice to the Banda Aceh Programme in line with Oxfam policies and procedures. You will communicate with staff, managers and GOI in the boundaries of the Human Resources Officer role. This post directly reports to the HR and Administration Manager. The suitable candidate must have education of Bachelor Degree in related major discipline. Candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in similar field.

Finance Manager
You will provide Financial Management of Oxfam Programme and to ensure the Aceh-Nias Programme complies with OGB and Indonesia Country Programme policies and procedures. This will include programme budgeting. You will Co-ordinate the activities of the Finance function to provide complete, timely and accurate financial data for the Aceh-Nias programme in line with published deadlines. You must have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or part qualified accountant with a minimum 3 years experience, preferably with some exposure to managing a finance function.

Senior Finance Officer
You will assist Financial Management of Oxfam Programme and to ensure the Aceh-Nias Programme complies with OGB and Indonesia Country Programme policies and procedures; ensure the activities of the Finance function to provide complete, timely and accurate financial data for the Aceh-Nias programme in line with published deadlines. This post directly reports to the Finance Manager. You must have an education of Bachelor Degree in related major discipline. Candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years proven Accounting experience.

Communication Officer
You will manage and coordinate all communication needs between the Oxfam Indonesia Communications Office in Jakarta, and the Oxfam Aceh and Nias programmes. You will support the Indonesia communications, media and advocacy teams to ensure that communications and advocacy messages are in line with agreed objectives, coherent and linked up, in order to meet the programme’s communications needs. This post directly reports to the Programme Coordinator. Preferably having a Bachelor Degree from related major discipline with minimum 1-2 year experience in similar field.

Gender Officer
The incumbent is expected to provide advice and support to the Aceh-Nias Programme teams to ensure incorporation of gender in all activities throughout the project cycle. You will coordinate gender interventions and programme development to ensure programme quality. Supporting gender advocacy in Aceh and Nias and taking the lead in interagency gender coordination activities in Banda Aceh. Coordinating other gender specific work. The suitable candidate must have education of Bachelor Degree in related major discipline. Candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in similar field.

Logistician
You will be responsible for managing the Logistics function across the programme including Banda Aceh, Calang and Nias. You will manage Assets, Procurement and storage: Transport and communication and other task as assigned by Line Manager. This post directly reports to the Programme Coordinator. Having a good diplomacy, tact and negotiation skills are essential. The suitable candidate must have education of Bachelor Degree in related major discipline. Candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in similar field.

Administration Officer
You will responsible for a wide variety of General Administrative Functions, e.g. Government Liaison/Visa Arrangement, Travel Administration and Office Facilities and Maintenance Management. This post directly reports to the HR and Administration Manager. The ideal candidate is holding a Bachelor Degree from any major discipline or equivalent in work experience. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in Administration.
