HR Officer at The Worldagroforestry Center

The HR Officer is expected to fulfil the organization human resources requirement and to maintain sound organization reputation in respect to Human Resources and Administrative Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:

Recruitment & Selection
To manage recruitment process: collaborate with hiring managers in structuring the job description and specification, estimating staff cost budget, allocating
recruitment tasks – announcement, formulation of panel, selection, short listing, interviewing and offering)

Staff Development
To implement and administer staff development program: conduct training need analysis, coordinate and evaluate training program as well as maintaining training database. To administer performance evaluation implementation, summarize the performance rating and facilitate ratings integration and submit the result to HR Unit – HQ.


Personnel Administration
Provide Human Resources day-to-day services: maintain and update HRIS, contract management, compensation & benefit administration, and other personnel administration
(health, pension, leave, staff list report, etc.). Response to enquiry and ready for information service in HR areas in accordance with Human Resources Policy Manual.

Qualifications
and Skills Required:
This position
requires at least the following qualifications and capacities:
· BSc Degree. A psychology, management, or law major would be an advantage.
· Holds at least 3 years of relevant experience
· Extensive knowledge of human resources services and day-to-day operation.
· Ability to cooperate and communicate effectively
· Excellent command of English
· Computer literate (MS Office)

Terms of offer
· This is a Nationally Professional Fixed Term position with a competitive salary and
benefits package.
· The contract is for a period of three years, with possibility of renewal, subject to availability of resources and assessment of performance.
