Vacancy as Jr. Admininstrator/Receptionist at GTZ Office Jakarta

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH is an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations. GTZ promotes complex reforms and change processes. Its corporate objective is to improve people's living conditions on a sustainable basis. GTZ has been working in Indonesia since 1975 on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

GTZ Office Jakarta is seeking 1 (one) additional qualified Indonesian candidate for the position of Jr. Administrator/ Receptionist with the job description below. This position will be a Fixed -Term Employment contract of 1 (one) year with possibility of prolongation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Tasks

1. Telephone/Reception Services
2. Support to Travel and Secretarial Services Officer

* Organize and take responsibility for the Project's mail box.
* Organize the availability of newspaper and magazine display.


Other Duties/Additional Tasks

* Assists in and/or carries out other office activities and other tasks, as assigned.
* Undertake further job training related to his/her position and duties such as secretarial, computer, office, and language skills, if required. Special training programs shall be identified and selected jointly with the Head of the Office.
* Inform Personnel Officer National Staff if the staff is late, sick, or out of the office.

Required Entry Qualifications and Competencies

Formal Education

* Diploma in secretarial school or similar

Professional Experience

* At least 1 -3 years of work experience in a similar position

Other Qualifications

* Good working knowledge of modern telecommunication systems (telephone, fax, e-mail, internet and its software)
* Good working knowledge of computer programs (e.g. MSOffice)
* Good working knowledge of hotel and flight reservation
* Language skills: English is a must and German would be advantage.
