Office Manager & ICT Technical Officer (Jakarta Based)

JOB VACANCY

An NGO-managed education project operating in seven provinces in
Indonesia seeks qualified candidates for:

1. Office Manager (Based in Jakarta)

The Office Manager is a member of, supervises, and assists in managing
the administrative support team in all office management tasks on the
project, funded by USAID.

Job responsibilities concentrate on coordinating and overseeing the
administrative management and support services for of Jakarta office and
providing clerical support services. Organize logistical and
administrative support for conferences, seminars, workshops, and
training events, which includes tasks and subtasks related to travel,
meals, translation services, and document distribution under the
project; Ensure that all office equipment and office infrastructure are
in working order; Manage office vehicle usage log, routine maintenance,
insurance coverage and renewal, and licensing and registration of
Jakarta vehicles (STNK); Maintain and update office inventory list
generated by the procurement officer: Oversee compliance of provincial
office sharing agreements; Provide general administrative and logistical
support to expatriate and local short-term specialists;

Requirements:

* Proven experience successfully managing administrative processes in
a complex, fast-moving environment, overseeing procurement, applications
for business and dinas visas for long-term expatriates;

* At least 3-5 years administrative management experience with
large-scale international projects;

* Knowledge of processes involved in USAID approvals, and foreign
visa applications;

* Excellent computer skills including, Microsoft word, excel, Outlook
exchange email system;

* Versed in office administration duties including faxing,
photocopying, answering phones, arranging meetings;

* Bachelors degree or 5 years administrative experience required;

* Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian required.

2. ICT Technical Officer (Based in Jakarta with regular travel to
provincial project offices)

Responsibilities include:

* Design and deliver training in the use of ICTs in primary school
education;

* Develop materials to assist educators in the use of ICTs;

* Determine appropriate ICT tools and applications for activities
supporting professional development of educators;

* Provide technical support for ICT activities including a wireless
pilot, digital libraries, and computer labs;

* Assist in development/ review of technical specifications for the
procurement of ICT equipment for project activities.


Required qualifications:

* Excellent knowledge of computer hardware, software, and electronics
such as digital and video cameras;

* Experience designing and delivering ICT training;

* Proven ability to implement ICT related activities, preferably in
development programs; Knowledge of issues of primary education in
Indonesia;

* Good spoken & written English and Bahasa Indonesia;

* University degree;

* Strong organizational and communications skills, and teamwork;

* Willingness to travel.
