Urgently Required - Finance Manager

BACKGROUND:

a Finance Manager to report directly to Country Manager, Indonesia. With

TERMS OF REFERENCE:
Manage the financial aspects of Cardno Acil Pty Ltd's operations in
Indonesia, with particular emphasis on the management of corporate and
employee tax compliance for Cardno Acil's projects throughout the
country. The focus of this role will be on the effective financial
management of Cardno Acil's Jakarta Office and its international
development assistance programs currently under contract in Indonesia.

More specifically, the Finance Manager will undertake their financial
management responsibilities in conjunction with the Cardno Acil Country
Manager and the Cardno Acil Financial Services Group. Tasks will
include:

* coordination and monitoring of Cardno Acil Jakarta office
budget, management of monthly office funds requests and MYOB cashbooks,
management of the Jakarta office bank accounts, payment of office
expenses, and management of petty cash;
* management of tax compliance requirements;
* coordinating the preparation of monthly and annual tax returns,
and oversighting tax payments on all Cardno Acil projects in Indonesia;
* establishment and monitoring appropriate systems to track and
ensure that Cardno Acil meets the compliance obligations of its
Permanent Establishment in Indonesia;
* liaise regularly with the relevant GoI tax authorities regarding
tax returns and compliance matters;
* offer advice on the taxation obligations of Cardno Acil's
permanent establishment in Jakarta corporately and Cardno Acil's
advisers in Indonesia personally in respect of bilateral and
multilateral funded development assistance projects;
* management of Cardno Acil Jakarta Office staff contracts,
calculation and payment of staff tax, Jamsostek and medical insurance
payments;
* on an as required basis, support business development activities
across the Indonesia region, including liaising with related Indonesian
counterparts, international and local consultants, and supporting the
preparation of bid proposals.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

1. Demonstrated expert knowledge of Articles 21, 23 and 26 of
Indonesian Taxation Law.
2. Demonstrated experience in the preparation of compliance returns
in respect of Corporate Income tax, Personal Income tax, Withholding tax
and Value Added tax.
3. Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to understand and
effectively use financial information.
4. Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
5. Knowledge of development assistance contracts and projects, in
particular those funded by the Australian Agency for International
Development (AusAID), the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.
6. Knowledge of the operation of project offices for donor-funded
development assistance projects.
7. Demonstrated understanding and application of skills and
approaches required in managing people to achieve outcomes and deliver
superior client service in a variety of situations.
8. Ability to prioritise, plan and organise workflow to tight
timeframes, handle multiple tasks, and be flexible with changing
priorities.
9. Intermediate - advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
and internet skills.
10. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
